A Small Update to Our Prices from 1st September 2026
At Learn to Dance, we always try to keep our classes and lessons as accessible and good value as possible. We know nobody enjoys hearing about price changes, so we wanted to give you plenty of notice.
We have held our prices since September 2023, despite continued increases in the cost of running the studio and the wider day-to-day costs of the business.
However, our lease is due for renewal this year and, unfortunately, this will result in a significant rent increase. After a great deal of careful thought, we will therefore need to make a small price adjustment from 1st September 2026.
We have worked hard to keep this increase as measured as possible, while still allowing us to continue offering the same friendly teaching, quality classes, and welcoming dance environment that our students value.
What this means
From 1st September 2026, our updated prices will be:
Adult Group Classes
- £10 per session
- £45 for 5 sessions
- £80 for 10 sessions
FitSteps Dance Fitness
- £7 per session
- £31.50 for 5 sessions
- £56 for 10 sessions
One Dance Courses
- £55 per 6-week course
Private Lessons
Private lesson prices will also be increasing from 1st September 2026.
Lesson prices will range from:
- £32.50 to £52.50 per session with Denise/Tom
- £42.50 to £62.50 per session with Antony/Emma
Package prices will continue to offer the same 10% and 20% reduction on the equivalent per-session rates, with the same 6 and 10 month expiry periods.
Wedding packages will also be increasing in line with Antony/Emma private lesson prices.
A full updated private lesson price list will be available in the studio and online from 1st September.
A few important notes
Any sessions or packages purchased before 1st September 2026 will continue to be honoured at their existing price and under their normal expiry terms.
The new prices will apply to new purchases made on or after 1st September 2026.
We will continue to do our very best to offer excellent value, high-quality teaching, and a dance school that feels welcoming and supportive to everyone.
Membership Scheme Option
We will also be introducing a new monthly membership option for regular dancers.
This will offer a simple monthly payment, inclusive group classes, and some extra member benefits. Full details will be available separately, so please ask us if you’d like to know more.
