Live Band Ballroom Dance Social at Potters International Hotel, Aldershot
Join Learn To Dance at a Live Band Ballroom & Latin American dance social in Aldershot. The event is being organised by the Simply Swing Band & Singers.
The Ballroom Dance Social takes place on Saturday 27th November 2021 at Potters International Hotel. We will also cost up arranging transport from the Cherry Orchard if there is enough interest.
The evening includes dance instruction (not provided by Learn To Dance) as well as a dance demonstration.
This is a great opportunity to dance Ballroom & Latin American to a live band. Especially as they have extensive experience in playing Ballroom & Latin American strict tempo.
Our dance social, originally scheduled to take place on Friday 26th November, will now take place on 19th November.
About Simply Swing Band & Singers
Simply Swing can boast band members who have performed in the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing live television band, The International Ballroom Dance Championships at The Royal Albert Hall and The UK Open Championships at The Bournemouth International Centre. They were also the resident band for the afternoon tea dances at The Sheraton, Park Lane.
The band plays strict tempo music for Ballroom & Latin American Dancing, and have a huge and varied REPERTOIRE from the 1920’s right up to the present day; reworking the classic pop standards of yesterday for a modern day audience.
How Much Are Tickets and what time is the Live Band Ballroom Dance Social?
Tickets are £30 in advance and we have reserved a number of tables for our students.
Doors open at 7pm with dancing from 8pm-11pm.
