Tango & Samba this week, plus Nightclub Two-Step course coming up

We hope you’ve enjoyed the summer break (or for parents the return of your children to full-time education!)

Our summer has been packed, and just this last week alone Antony has been giving a go at tiling, after Emma & Antony couldn’t find any tilers with availability. For those who have lessons over the next few days, expect a very broken man! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Classes this week we’ll be recapping the Samba, and looking at Tango.

    • Intermediate 1 – Corta Jaca, Back Corta Jaca
    • Intermediate 2 – Rotating the Corta Jaca
    • Advanced – Shadow Corta Jaca
    • Over 50s – Foot Changes, Follower Underarm Turns, Shadow Samba Walks
  • Beginner Waltz Course – Whisk & Closed Finish, Chasse from Promenade Position
  • Waltz Course – No class this week
  • Foxtrot Course – Closed Impetus

Price Increases

A reminder that our prices increased on Tuesday 1st September.

Going forward there will be a smaller annual increase on 1st September each year.

Nightclub Two-Step

Join us for a brand new 12-week Nightclub Two-Step course and learn this smooth, relaxed partner dance, perfect for slower contemporary music and romantic ballads. The course runs in two 6-week blocks at ยฃ55pp per block, with the first starting on Monday 21st September.

Matthew & Ellie competing at their first London Area qualifier for the 2026 Medallist of the Year competition

Medallist of the Year Qualifier

Come along and experience the atmosphere of a dance competition while supporting our Learn to Dance students as they take to the floor in the Medallist of the Year Qualifier. Even if youโ€™re not competing, itโ€™s a great chance to see how these events work, enjoy the dancing and cheer on some familiar faces!

The competition takes place in Reading on Sunday 11th October. Tickets cost ยฃ19pp and doors open from 9am (first round 9.45am). You have a wristband that permits you to come and go as you please from the competition.
