Instagram…suits you sir

As part of their holiday travels this week Emma and Antony decided to pop into Wrexham, having enjoyed the Disney+ documentary “Welcome To Wrexham”.

Turned out that not only did they unexpectedly get a chance to meet the players after a training session, but they also discovered that the suit worn by Paul Mullins (a Wrexham AFC player) in the most recent Deadpool film was actually on display in the club cafe.

Parking Update

A reminder that from Sunday 1st September new parking regulations are in force at the Cherry Orchard.

All students will need to enter their number plates in the tablet to validate their parking when they arrive, as there is only 30 minutes of free parking otherwise.

Parking will still be free for all Learn To Dance students.

Beginner Jive Course

There will be a beginner Jive course (triple-step not Rock and Roll) starting from Sunday 8th September at 6pm.

The four week course costs £35pp and is available to book now.

Quickstep Course

We will have a 6-week Quickstep course starting from Monday 9th September.

The course will start with a focus on the basics, and improving your technique, before moving on to a variety of figures for navigating the floor.

BRAND NEW Improver Level 3

We’re increasing the level of our Wednesday night classes and introducing a BRAND NEW improver level 3 class from Wednesday 11th September.

The 8pm class will increase to Improver Level 2, and the original 9pm Level 2 will increase to a new Level 3. All still cover Bronze level steps.

Foxtrot American Smooth Course

We will be continuing with the theme of American Smooth in September, this time focusing on the Foxtrot.

With this course we will show you a number of moves and figures that you can introduce into your regular Foxtrot (or entirely in place of) to get around the floor with some added pizazz!

Erin Boag Workshop Day

Erin Boag Ballroom Dance Workshops 2024. Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango and Viennese Waltz. Advert with details and timings

Join us on Sunday 10th November for an afternoon of Ballroom Dance workshops as we welcome back Strictly legend Erin Boag.

Four workshops

2pm Waltz
3pm Foxtrot
4pm Tango
5pm Viennese

Each workshop costs £25pp but you can get a block booking discount of all four for £70, £57.50 for any three workshops, or £42.50 for any two.

Ceilidh Night

We can’t wait to host our first ever Ceilidh night on Friday 31st January 2025…and it appears you can’t wait for it either – we’re already over 40% booked!

Glastonbury Dance Break

Next year’s Glastonbury Dance Break will take place from Friday 7th – Sunday 9th March 2025.

This break will focus on Viennese Waltz, and the theme of the Saturday night will be ‘Viennese Ball’.

The break costs £225pp but you can save £15pp if you book and pay in full by 30th November 2024.

All solo rooms are now fully booked and we’re already 35% booked for all places!
