Instagram…some bunny to dance

We had a great Good Friday Afternoon Tea on Friday, including receiving these wonderful statues as a gift from a student.

A brief dilemma as to where we were going to site them, but we think we’ve found a nice place to display.

YouTube…dance lessons are coming back

It’s been a long two year hiatus from our regular YouTube lessons, whilst we worked on rebuilding the dance school following Covid.

However we’re now ready to start releasing new video lessons, with our initial plan being some companion videos to our upcoming Beginner Waltz Course. The first video will be released on Sunday 7th April to coincide with the start of the course.

You can enjoy our relaunch teaser below (oh and we’ve included our usual outtakes selection for your enjoyment too!)

Feel free to check out our YouTube channel for more videos. The more you watch and like our videos it really helps us to be recommended to other viewers so we’d appreciate that too.

Beginner Waltz Course

We are going to trial reintroducing courses for complete beginners, so they can focus on a single dance over a few weeks.

The courses will take place on Sundays at 6pm, starting with Waltz from Sunday 7th April. This first course will be 5 weeks and costs £42pp. Read more…

Tango Course Extension

Learn To Dance Group Lesson at Cherry Orchard Studio

Our Monday night Tango Course will be extending for another 6 weeks from Monday 8th April.

We have just started touching on Silver level figures but some of this course will be focused on consolidating moves learnt in the first 12 weeks.

Experienced dancers are welcome to join the course at this point.

The course extension costs £50pp for the 6 week extension.

American Smooth Course

Starting on Wednesday 10th April will be an American Smooth course.

This course will focus on some of the more ‘Fred & Ginger’ style steps that you can incorporate into your existing Ballroom dances.

There will be NO LIFTS on this course!

The course costs £50pp for the 6 weeks and will be extended as long as there is demand. Read more

Anniversary Party

We will be hosting our Anniversary Party on Friday 26th April from 7pm-11pm.

The ticket price of £10 includes a welcome drink.

Dancing starts from around 8.30pm.

We are already 25% booked for this event.

Kristina Rihanoff Workshop Day

Due to a scheduling conflict Kristina has asked if we can switch these workshops to Saturday 18th May. Alternatively we may look at engaging a different ex-Strictly pro for these workshops.

We are currently in contact with existing bookings to confirm how many would be able to make the switch to the Saturday.

Confirmation of any changes are expected this week and we will let you know as soon as possible.
