The week dancing starts to feel easier (Waltz & Bachata)

It's waltz week at Learn To Dance. The image shows a picture of a couple in a ballroom dance hold, with text overlaid saying "This is Where it Clicks" above "Waltz Week" and the Learn To Dance logo in the bottom right corner

This week is a lovely one — we’ll revisit Bachata and introduce Waltz, which is usually where dancing suddenly starts to feel smoother.

If you’ve missed a couple of weeks, this is honestly the perfect time to come back. Nothing builds confidence faster than mastering the Waltz.

Our Social Foxtrot, Waltz & Salsa course extensions also begin this week for anyone ready for the next step.

We’ve refined the weekly update to make it easier to read — we hope you find it clearer.

This week you’ll learn

• Bachata recap
• Waltz foundations
• Smoother movement & leading
• Dancing with less thinking

Perfect if you:

• feel stuck
• missed a week or two
• want smoother dancing
• are returning after a break

Remember you just need to come to class this week — that’s how progress happens.

Course Extensions Starting

Our Social Foxtrot, Waltz & Salsa extensions begin this week.

This is where dancing becomes relaxed and natural rather than step-focused — fewer steps, more movement and confidence in social situations.

Social Dancing

Even staying for one extra dance after class speeds improvement massively, so make sure you utilise that 15 minutes at the end of classes.

Don’t forget we also have our weekly tea dances on Monday afternoons if you’re free.

Upcoming & Reminders

• Classes continue as normal this week
• A great week for returning dancers
