Instagram…let’s get Creative
Friday morning saw Antony visiting Creative Academy in Slough to help some of their Year 3 degree students incorporate elements of Viennese Waltz into a filming project.
Along with teaching them the basics steps and techniques of the dance, he also helped them with ideas on choreography.
We look forward to seeing the results after they film it next Friday.
Argentine Stroll Sequence Workshop
On Sunday our Sequence & Social workshop will be looking at the Argentine Stroll.
Normally we teach a sequence dance in 30-45minutes, and then the rest of the session is for socialising and practice.
However this is one of the trickiest sequence dances and will likely take most of the 2 hours to go through!
The session costs £15pp and runs from 1.30pm-3.30pm
Can You Help?
We are on the lookout for cake stands, ideally 2 or 3 tier, for our Christmas Afternoon Tea.
If you happen to see any in charity shops, or have ones you no longer require, please let us know.
Christmas Social
Our Christmas Party is now fully booked!
For those attending, it’s not compulsory, but a Winter Wonderland theme to colours/outfits always appreciated.
We look forward to seeing you all in a few weeks time.
Christmas Afternoon Tea
Sunday 17th December will be our Christmas Afternoon Tea from 1pm-4pm.
Places cost £25pp and include a full afternoon tea and unlimited tea/coffee (during the afternoon tea).
The theme for this one is Christmas Jumpers, but again don’t feel obliged!
Due to demand we were able to squeeze in one more table, but we only have 4 final places left!!!
Glastonbury Dance Break
Our 2024 Glastonbury Dance Weekend will be covering Cha Cha Cha, with a Bollywood theme to the Saturday night.
Places cost £215pp and you can save £15pp if you book and pay in full before the end of November.
We only have 3 solo rooms remaining and the entire break is already over 33% booked!
