Nicky Byrne & Karen Hauer – Waltz
Personally I’m a fan of the tail suit for Ballroom dances but I suppose he has the body to pull off the Lycra shirt!
Posture isn’t great during the opening intro, really needs to stand up more and keep himself from hunching over.
Timing seems to go a bit iffy during the pivots and it’s a bit jumpy. Would prefer them to stay in hold during the dance and save solo/out of hold movements for the start and end.
Nicky needs to just stretch his head out a bit more too. Glad to see they didn’t overdo it with lifts. Couldn’t see if he got all his heel leads correctly but I suspect there were a few footwork mistakes. A good start though, I’ll give them a 6
