Regular Social Events
At LearnToDance we regularly run or arrange social events where you can get together with other students to enjoy dance based events.
Our monthly social nights are a great opportunity to practice your dance steps, along with catching up with other students and just enjoying the music and dancing. We also run a workshop beforehand aimed at Improvers to Intermediates, although some of our special social nights may not have a workshop.
Weekly Tea Dances take place on Mondays from 1.30pm. Your first session costs £10 and then it's £5 per session after that.
We also look to arrange trips to balls, such as the Austrian Club of London's biennial Austrian Ball, and shows when we think they may be of interest.
Quarterly you will find a Cinema Night where we show a film with dance or musical themes on our large projector screen. As well as the film screening we also run a solo workshop beforehand inspired by the film.
Annual Social Events
Throughout the year we also have some special annual events which include:
- Valentine's Dinner & Dance (Feb),
- LearnToDance Anniversary Party (Apr),
- Spring Bank Holiday Vintage Tea Dance (May)
- Summer BBQ Social Event (Aug),
- Halloween Social (Oct),
- Christmas Party (Dec),
- Strictly Final Pizza Party (Dec); and
- Christmas Themed Tea Dance (Dec)
So there are plenty of opportunities to have fun with the dancing that you're learning. You also don't have to be a LearnToDance student to attend any of our social events.
