School Reopens

We hope you’re having a great Christmas. A quick reminder that the school is closed until Monday 6th January.

Blackpool Dance Experience

Before the school reopens we’ll be off up to Blackpool to give you an experience of what Blackpool has to offer (from a dance perspective anyway!)

The break features a visit to a dance competition plus a chance to dance at the world famous Blackpool Tower.

Whilst the break is closed for booking online it may still be possible to join us, however this would depend on availability at the hotel and tickets so please contact us ASAP if you wish to join.

New Courses

We have our first courses for 2025 scheduled. Our beginner courses will also be falling in line with our regular courses and running in six week blocks.

The courses are:

Sun 12th – Beginner Rock & Roll
Mon 13th – Argentine Tango
Wed 15th – Viennese Waltz

All courses cost £50pp for 6 weeks and will be extended in 6 week blocks so long as enough students wish to continue.

Ceilidh Live Band Event

On Friday 31st January 2025 we’ll be welcoming a live Ceilidh Band, Nedron’s Jig, to the studio for a fabulous Ceilidh night.

There’ll be a caller to instruct us in the various dances and it promises to be an entertaining evening.

The event is fully booked but we are operating a waiting list that you can sign up to here.

Glastonbury Dance Weekend

Our 2025 Glastonbury Dance Weekend is on sale. The weekend’s dance will be Viennese Waltz, with a Viennese Ball theme to the Saturday night.

Places costs £225pp and bookings close on Friday 31st January!

Spring Dinner & Dance

Our Spring Dinner & Dance takes place on Friday 28th March.

Places cost £42pp and include a welcome drink and two course menu.

All bookings and menu choices required by 21st March

What You May Have Missed

Parking Charge Admin Fee

Parking is still free at the studio, providing that you remember to enter your number plate into the tablet provided.

Back in September the parking terms changed from 2hrs free to 30mins and whilst this should not affect our students we saw a significant increase in parking tickets being issued.

Due to the admin time it takes for us to cancel tickets we have introduced a £10 charge to doing so. Whilst this is still significantly cheaper than paying the parking fine we do ask that you please remember to enter your number plate every day that you visit the studio.

We do not know whether our ability to cancel tickets will always be possible!

Erin Boag Workshops

It was an intense set of sessions back in November with an afternoon of Ballroom workshops with Erin Boag.

There were a lot of technical elements for the students to take away and work on, along with a few fun sequences they could add in to their existing repertoire.

We do not currently have any scheduled for 2025 but we are working on it!

1 Million Club

Our online video clips have been seeing some great engagement, especially on Facebook, and we’ve now had two videos cross 1m views, along with a few approaching that level!!!
